  • DBS checks are a responsibility solely on the employer. Dentrain Professionals are not able to carry these out to cover individual workplaces.

  • We will provide candidates with a Maths and English initial assessment to be carried out and returned before the sign up date to identify any specific needs.

  • Once you have registered interest in using Dentrain professionals Ltd you will be sent our contract and policies to read through at your own leisure so there is no added pressure of being forced to sign a document you have not had time to read to allow sign up to proceed. Our contracts with candidates do not replace an employer contract which are a requirement.

  • We will liaise with yourselves on a start date for you apprentice to start work and also a suitable sign up date and time for an allocated assessor to visit your workplace to register on the apprenticeship.

  • An online portfolio will be provided, along with resources and module for learning material, the online portfolio is where all written assessments will be set and all assessments and progress stored. Employers can have access to this upon request.

  • 8 weeks in to the course arrangements will be made to start carrying out observations once the candidate has started to gain confidence in practical aspects.

  • Reviews will take place throughout the course where the allocated assessor will visit the practice and discuss progress both with yourself and the candidate.

  • Full tutorial support is provided throughout the course.

  • Towards the end of the course there are four multiple choice examinations, these will be sat over two days at our Bolton centre. A full day off is required for these examinations as pre exam preparation in the form of an overview lesson will be provided before each sitting.

  • If English and maths is part of the framework further days will be required to attend our Bolton centre depending on requirements.
