COVID-19: Protecting Your Mental Health
Information for Protecting Your Mental Health
We hope you are all coping well in this difficult time during the COVID-19 pandemic. At Dentrain Professionals Ltd we are here to support our learners in whatever difficulties they may come across. As well as having your Assessor available for your support we would also like to stress that we have a dedicated safeguarding officer Jackie Brennan, who is also available for your support. Jackie can be contacted via email at: jackie @dentrain.net
Whilst mental health may be affected during this unprecedented time it’s always good to talk!
Here we have a few more coping strategies to help you through these difficult times:
Even if it’s just into comfort clothes, this will help you feel more productive and less in a rut.
Eat New Heathy Recipes
If you can, eat a variety of food and try different recipes. This will give your day variety and keep your body feeling healthy.
Try doing new activities or bring back old ones. Getting creative is a great way to keep your spirits up and your mind relaxed.
Even though we can’t go visiting, make sure you stay connected. A good way is video chatting or even just a phone call. This will help you and the people you are talking to feel less isolated.
Do Your Hair/Makeup
Even if you’re not going anywhere this can help you feel “normal” in a very chaotic time. People often feel relaxed when doing hair or makeup ad you deserve that.
Everyone everywhere is talking about the virus. Turn off your devices and get some well-deserved time away.
Mental health is always important during times like this. Reach out if you need to and remember to check in with your friends and family.
We are all in this TOGETHER!
